Fair Fashion

What an exciting term it has been! We really enjoyed our studying Fair Fashion as we had the opportunity to be active citizens. We investigated the cotton industry and were really surprised by the conditions farmers faced. Miss McCurdy was so impressed by our literacy skills this term. We learned how to use persuasive language, include evidence and quote our sources. In Numeracy we designed surveys, which we conducted around the school. Drawing conclusions from the results made us realise that we needed to raise the profile of Fair Fashion. We have been very busy with our key ring businesses and have made lots of money for charity. As well as this, we had lots of fun preparing for our Fashion Show. We recorded coop team dances and strutted down the catwalk. We would like to thank everyone who came along to support us on our Open Evening and for making it such a success.
