Welcome to Primary 6/7

Primary 6/7 have been very busy this term doing lots of exciting things. We have a new teacher called Miss Breslin and have made many new friends, some of whom have come from Moorpark Primary School.

We are taking on a lot of new responsibilities this year. Primary 6 have been doing this through the Playmakers Scheme, Dinner Duty and being litter pickers. Primary 7 have become buddies, monitors and DJs which we are really enjoying.

Primary 7 have worked together to prepare for our 'Back To School With God' assembly which was a fabulous success. Our teachers Miss Breslin and Miss McCurdy were so pleased with how hard we worked to make it so successful.

As well as being so busy carrying out our important responsibilities, we have been working hard in class. For RME we learned about Durga Puja, a Hindu Goddess and this week we started our new topic - Global Citizenship. We have been working in groups to complete many fun challenges with each of us having our own roles and responsibilities.

P6 have been learning all about the human body in Science and were shocked to discover that the human body has 206 bones and over 600 muscles. P7 are going to be learning about weight for Science.

We are looking forward to the new challenges ahead and working together to become Successful Learners.
