Secret Topic Unveiled

Primary 6/7 have had a really busy term, especially in the final 2 weeks.

This term, our focus has been on our secret topic, which was finally revealed on Tuesday 29 April to our parents. We were so pleased to show off our work and learning about The Swinging Sixties to our family and friends. We had various activities to test the learning of our parents and we are pleased to say that they did very well!! The run up to the unveiling was very exciting with lots of productive learning and preparation taking place.

Miss Breslin is very proud of all of the pupils in her class. They all worked so hard to make the evening a huge success and the evidence of this was in the pride of family and friends.

Primary 7 went on their residential trip a few weeks before the Easter holidays and had so much fun (even in the Snow!) The primary 7s who stayed went on lots of fun activities during their activity week. Primary 6 and Miss Breslin missed them all and were glad to have everyone back.

Primary 6 took over the running of the Parent Run Library that week and their hard work and effort was commended by all the parents. Well done Primary 6.

The day after the Open Evening was just as exciting for Primary 6/7. We went on our school trip the People's Palace and were able to show off our learning about the Swinging Sixties as well as learn some more exciting facts of the decade. What fun!

The pupils of Kirklandneuk were very lucky to receive a performance by a new girl band - Sugar Bullet and Primary 6/7 loved listening to their songs.

We hope to have a fun term (yet hard working, hopefully) after the Easter holidays.
