A New Year
Happy New Year to all our friends and family.
We are so excited about the year ahead. In June some of us will be saying farewell to Kirklandneuk and moving onto High School. For those of us in Primary 6, this year we will be at the top!
Miss McCurdy kept us in suspense about our surprise topic, but finally revealed our all singing, all dancing Social Subjects focus. Without giving too much away, we like this topic as it enables us to showcase our skills in technology, dance and debate. We will be learning about how other people live and taking action to address social injustice.
This term on the 25th January, Primary 6 have a very special Burns' Ceilidh planned, to which guests are invited. We all attend free of charge, but for the small fee of £5 you can enjoy a delicious meal, a live Ceilidh band and of course our fantastic performances. Come along for a night of Burns fun! We are very grateful that we have Primary 7 to help us with our highland dance moves.
Primary 6 have been allocated an extra block of swimming, which will commence in March. Further information coming from the school.
We are all really looking forward to the Open Evening so that we can showcase our fantastic work. We will keep you posted.
